Auditions
Singers are invited to audition for the opportunity to perform in Spain as part of a cabaret act produced by Zing Productions led by Zade Bester and Giempie Vardien as the creative director. Auditions take place in Claremont on Saturday November 2, from 11am to 3pm, and successful singers should be available to travel for one to three years, have police clearance and a valid passport. Wine festival
Constantia Rotary Club is hosting an event of canapes and wine tasting in aid of its charitable projects from 6:30pm to 9pm tonight at the Clay Cafe in Wynberg. There will be a silent auction of about 50 special wines, restaurant vouchers and a live wine auction. Tickets are R200 and can be bought on Webtickets.
Parkrun
The Hout Bay parkrun is held every Saturday from 8am. The 5km route starts and ends near Ambleside School and takes participants through the wetlands. Entry is free. Call Fred Nebe for more information on 082 552 5204.Â
