I have been reading with interest the editorial and response letters from local dog owners about dogs leashed and unleashed on Hout Bay beach.

As a resident of Military Road for the past 25 years, my family and I have had to endure the arrogance
of untrained dog owners.

I invite you to “walk the gauntlet “ of a short piece of our road, and experience first hand, the “mess” left behind by local Hout Bay dogs!

I blame the owners, not the dogs. The blatant disrespect for our laws, allows locals to walk their dogs without leashes, leaving behind “fresh parcels” for residents to clean up.

I invite you to witness, first hand, my video surveillance, recorded as recently as today (Saturday), of disrespectful dog owners walking their pets in Military
Road.
