Traffic on the Main Road near the Hout Bay police station was brought to a standstill on Friday morning, August 12 and scores of commuters were inconvenienced when Hout Bay taxi drivers blocked the road in protest of Wynberg taxi drivers transporting Hout Bay passengers to Claremont. Law enforcement stepped in and impounded taxis that were blocking the road. Pictured is a law enforcement tow truck removing a taxi at the traffic circle in Imizamo Yethu opposite the police station.
