Hout Bay Snipers crowned U-18 league champions

Hout Bay under-18 basketball sides impressed at the weekend’s Cape Town Basketball Association (CTBA) league final matches, played at Wynberg Boys’ High School. Hangberg’s Hout Bay Hurricanes dropped out in their semi-final match against Heideveld Basketball Club, going down 44-40. Neighbours Hout Bay Snipers were on fire, winning Eagles Basketball Club 77-48 in the quarter-finals and eliminated Spartans 50-34 in the semi-final to set up a date against Heideveld in the final match. Snipers won 54-45 to lift the trophy.
