A taxi protest broke out in Hout Bay in the early hours of this morning. Main Road continues to be blocked off to traffic. Drivers and operators associated with the Cape Town Amalgamated Taxi Association say they are being targeted by traffic officials, while Congress for Democratic Taxi Associations (Codeta) are allowed to drive “illegally” on the disputed Hout Bay-Cape Town route.
