Book owls

A new society, the Hout Bay Book Owls, was recently launched in the village. The purpose of the society is to create opportunities for readers and writers to liaise through its Facebook page or at social events. “Membership is open to anyone who loves to read any genre and anyone who wants to write, is currently writing or has written,” says Book Owls representative Helen Nevin. You do not have to live in Hout Bay. Find them on Facebook, watch out for forthcoming events or pop in to Deli Delish restaurant to experience an owl box, which consists of books by local authors.
