Beer trophy winners

Last week, the third annual South African National Beer Trophy was held in Cape Town, and Hout Bay’s Urban Brewing Co. scooped a gold award for their Judas Peak Blonde Ale and a silver award for their Monkey’s Paw Pilsner. Beer maker Jorg Finkeldey crafts beers from spring water sourced from the Hout Bay mountains. The brewery markets their beers as, “stylish, sophisticated and refined with a refreshing undercurrent of scallywag”.
