Fill a Santa shoebox

The Santa Shoebox Project has opened public pledging for 2019. The project collects and distributes personalised gifts of essential items and treats for underprivileged children throughout South Africa and Namibia. Visit www.santashoebox.org.za pledge your shoeboxes and collect up to four free flat-packed shoeboxes from any of the 50 Stor-Age stores nationwide. Donors are also asked to include a reusable bag in which the child can carry the shoebox home. 
The Lions Club of Hout Bay Show Chilled Art and Craft Market is now open. For the very best local arts and crafts, visit the market any Sunday, weather permitting, between 10am and 3pm on the Hout Bay Common. There is more than 100 stalls, pony rides, food and music. The Hout Bay parkrun is held every Saturday from 8am. The 5km route starts and ends near Ambleside School and take participants through the wetlands. Entry is free. For more information, call Fred Nebe on 082 552 5204.
