The IY sports field will welcome all families from Hout Bay tomorrow, Saturday October 22, for the Hout Bay Family Day.
Shawco Health and Hout Bay Rotary will be hosting the day using mobile clinics providing services helping with moms and babies, eyes, dental, health and rehab, health checks and more.
The day forms part of an extension of the children’s clinics, which is usually run on a Saturday.
Rotary President, Alison Rice, called on the entire Hout Bay to support the day and making sure their entire families are healthy.
She said last year, they have provided over 1 700 services to the community and will aim to better that this year.
“We are still facilitating the event being held with health workers, SHAWCO, UWC and other health services,” she said.
“This even is being held at the IY sportsground and everyone in the community is invited.”
The Hout Bay Family Day starts at 9am and will run until 4pm.
