Ward councillor Roberto Quintas, left, presented Hout Bay Emergency Medical Services volunteer Matthew Rosenberg with more than R100 000 of gear, including torches, first-aid kits, traffic cones, spotlights and whistles, on Friday March 17. The equipment was paid for out of the ward budget. The volunteer group is a first responder at emergencies and provides first-aid training.
