Cape Town Opera which, in association with The City of Cape Town, presented Twinkle Twinkle, will have the second instalment in the company’s successful Opera Blocks series during October.
Their next public performances in the popular Opera Blocks series will take place Thursday October 27, Friday October 28 and Saturday October 29 at Artscape.
Cape Town Opera performed at two closed community performances in Rocklands and Delft in August.
Twinkle Twinkle is a fantastical experience, especially curated for babies from birth to four years, and their parents, guardians and caregivers. With magical music, song, sets and lighting, Twinkle Twinkle introduces little ones to the theatrical world of opera in a calm, immersive and interactive environment.
The 40-minute production is directed by Elisabeth Manduell, with Ian Bothma on piano, set and costume design by the Cape Town Opera production team and lighting design by the Artscape lighting department.
