With the South African Lifesaving Championships set to take place in a few weeks’ time in Port Elizabeth, lifeguards from around the peninsula had one final chance to hone their skills as they competed at the Western Cape championships, held in Strand, at the weekend. Llandudno Surf Lifesaving Club ended in second place overall with 599 points, behind Fish Hoek Surf.
