The impact Covid-19 has had on clubs has prompted grassroots sports enthusiast, Zarin Meyer, from Plumstead, a former Victoria Cricket Club player and founder of Millenium Events, to organise a live streaming concert Lyrics and Laughter: The HalfTime Show, at 44 on Long, in the Cape Town CBD, on Saturday October 31 at 7pm, in support of community sports clubs.
The event, co-hosted by Rodney “Scarra” Brown, will feature a star-studded line-up that includes Chad Saaiman, Dalin Oliver, Jarrad Ricketts, Nur Abrahams and Riyaan Cornelius.Tickets, at R95, are available from Quicket.
