The Fawcett family reigned supreme in last month’s Llandudno Sports Club’s annual tennis club championships.
Richard Fawcett, the 2014 men’s singles champion, got his name back on the trophy by defeating defending champion Clive Barrett. Both players showed off their silky skills in blustery conditions.
Richard then teamed up with his father, Tony, to win the men’s doubles Cup Competition, edging out Michael Bester and Grant van Zyl.
And, to cap off a memorable tournament, Richard made it a trifecta of titles by winning the mixed doubles cup competition with his mother, Adrienne, overcoming Georgie Gerner and Clive Barrett.
In the women’s singles cup competition, Lize Wessels showed her class in triumphing over Lizzell Boshoff.
