Do you want to help make a difference and support your health-care facility in improving services for your community?
You can join the health committee or hospital board in your area, for 2024 to 2027, by applying on the provincial government website.
To nominate someone, you must include the name of the facility, the full name and address of the nominee, a signed copy of the nominee’s CV, a motivation for the nominee’s suitability and a declaration of the nominee’s willingness to serve.
Additionally, for community representatives, further information about the nominating body and the nominee’s membership status or reason for nomination if not a member is required.
The appointment to the board or committee is a voluntary one with no remuneration attached to it. Members may, however, be reimbursed for certain travelling and subsistence expenses incurred.
Training will be provided to all members.
