Youth in focus

The City of Cape Town and youth-employment accelerator Harambee held workshops in Imizamo Yethu on Thursday February 8. “I was extremely pleased to see youth seizing opportunities made available by the ongoing partnership between myself as the ward councillor and Harambee,” said ward councillor Roberto Quintas, pictured centre. “If business and governments work together and, most importantly, with the buy-in and the willingness of the youth to participate, we can potentially see many young people from vulnerable communities rise above and access opportunities and freedom for growth”.
