Win by helping the environment

Ecobricks can be used to build a raised vegetable garden.

Hout Bay residents stand a chance to win a R1 000 Pick n Pay gift card while also
contributing to the environment.

All you need is an ecobrick with a piece of paper inside the lid of the bottle, stating your name and cellphone number.

An ecobrick is a reusable building block, filled with non-biodegradable materials such as foil and plastic.

The public can deposit their ecobricks in special bins at Pick n Pay Hout Bay (Mainstream Shopping Centre and Mall), Bay Harbour Market and Hout Bay High.

The ecobricks must weigh 600 grams and not buckle when stepped on.

The 2-litre plastic soda bottle needs to contain clean and dry materials, and no food.

The winner will be announced at the end of April and will walk away with a
R1 000 Pick n Pay gift card.

Envirochild, Pick n Pay, Bay Harbour Market and Ecobrick Exchange are running the competition.
