Water supply disruptions to parts of Hout Bay

The Water and Sanitation Department is conducting emergency repairs on the water main along Victoria Road in Hout Bay today.

The work involves the repair of a leak on the 225mm diameter pipe that feeds the lower part of Hout Bay between Payne Road and Victoria Road. 

This will result in the disruption of the water supply in this part of Hout Bay from 11am until 6pm today. 

The section of Victoria Road between the two traffic circles is closed for the duration of the repairs and traffic is diverted to Disa River Road.

The affected residents are advised to ensure that their taps are closed during this period to avoid water loss or damage when the water supply is restored.
