The water supply to Hangberg in Hout Bay will be temporarily shut from 9am until 3pm on Tuesday July 28 due to maintenance work.
The Water and Sanitation Department will be connecting the City’s new Electricity Building in Hangberg to the water supply main for the area which will require that the water supply to the area be temporarily disrupted to enable the staff to do the connection.
Residents are requested to keep their taps closed during this period to prevent water loss and/or water damage when the water supply is restored.
A water tanker will be circulating in the area to provide water for domestic consumption where required.
