Water supply disrupted in Hout Bay

A water tanker is stationed in Chestnut Road to provide water to residents.
The Water and Sanitation Department is conducting emergency repairs on the 300mm diameter water supply main in the vicinity of Chestnut Road in Hout Bay following a burst pipe earlier today.

Water supply to residents along the Main Road between Chestnut and Disa River Roads had to be shut off to prevent water from running to waste.

A water tanker is stationed in the vicinity of Chestnut Road to provide water for domestic use.

All taps should be closed to prevent any water loss and/or damage when the water supply is restored.
