With the recent Covid resurgence there is nothing better than being outdoors. The market-type experience is increasingly popular, where visitors get to meet the makers and it generally lends itself to social distancing.

Here’ a round-up of lcoal markets that will take you on a tour of the peninsula, and further afield, starting at the V&A Waterfront.

Milnerton Market

Milnerton Market is open on Saturdays, including public holidays but not on New Year’s Day, Friday January 1. It is open from 7am until 2pm, and located at Marine Drive (R27) opposite Metro Industrial Park, Paarden Eiland. From vintage to valuables, junk to gems, décor and fashion, it’s an open-air bazaar on a dusty seaside patch of ground.
