Hout Bay International School PYP 6 (Primary Years Programme) pupils tackled the theme of “Sharing the Planet” in their annual exhibition. They linked their central idea, “Global citizens working together to drive change”, to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals to make their exhibition more meaningful. In small groups, the pupils worked collaboratively on self-initiated and self-designed projects which were showcased on Thursday November 21 in the hall. Pupils tackled issues such as deforestation, poverty, the gender pay gap, quality education, the use of plastics, racism and equality and looking at a world where there is zero hunger.
