Llandudno Primary School was awarded with a Good School certificate and achieved Outstanding ratings in the Learner Achievement, Behaviour and Safety, Governance, and Parents and Community categories at the Schools Evaluation Authority (SEA) award ceremony in Bellville on Saturday November 23. The school also achieved Good ratings in Teaching and Learning and Leadership and Management categories, and principal Alexander Molteno received an honorary certificate. The SEA helps improve and evaluate schools in the Western Cape through strengthening school accountability, according to its website. “Having started at Llandudno Primary as principal this year, I am proud of the school’s accomplishment. However, I do look forward to the next SEA evaluation where I am confident that the school will be certified as outright Outstanding,“ Mr Molteno said. Picture: supplied
