NSRI turns 50

To celebrate the NSRI’s 50th birthday this year, Station 8 Hout Bay is hosting an open day at the NSRI base in Hout Bay harbour on Sunday November 12 from 10am to 2pm. There will be loads of food, entertainment and family fun. Kids’ activities include face painting, a colouring competition, a rescue-photo booth, and boat rides. There will also be a rescue demonstration where you can see the NSRI’s volunteer crew in action. For the adults there will be live music and entertainment as well as food trucks and stalls.
