As a Service and Action opportunity, pupils at Hout Bay International School took on the initiative of using origami techniques to fold and create paper masks. These were then decorated to look like monsters. The aim was to create simple masks from ready found material. The monster masks will hopefully encourage young children, who might otherwise be reluctant to wear masks, to feel brave.Â
