Fund-raiser for Elijah

A Hout Bay gym held a CrossFit session and raised R5 700 for Elijah Cottle who was diagnosed with acute flaccid myelitis (AFM) in August 2022, the day after his third birthday (“Elijah taking it one step at a time,” Sentinel, December 9, 2022). This rare polio-like condition led to a sudden paralysis from his waist down. The Hout Bay boy is currently in America and still needs funds to cover medical treatment. Image: supplied.
