DARG’s name game

The Domestic Animal Rescue Group (DARG) this week embarked on an innovative way to raise funds on social media for their operation which takes care of 200 dogs affected by fire. The “Dargday Name Game” sought to have volunteers name as many dogs as they could within a two-minute time frame. Each round was broadcast on Facebook Live and Darg followers were asked to “bet” by way of a donation on their preferred competitor. There were no winners for bets, rather losing bets were paid as a donation to Darg. Recently Darg completed its new farmyard area, which includes goats, pigs and bunnies, and the public have been
encouraged to visit and bring veggies for the farmyard animals. Pictured is Darg facilitator Ryno Engelbrecht with one of their rescue animals.
