October is Cancer Awareness Month and on Friday October 7, Mode Hair and Beauty had a cupcake Friday, selling a variety of home-made cupcakes in aid of raising funds and creating awareness. They will be running a raffle until the end of the month and donations are entirely up to the donor starting at a minimum of R5. There are also three prizes to be won on the day of the draw, Friday October 28. The first prize is an Indian head massage, blow dry and a mini manicure while the second prize is a blow dry and a mini manicure and the third a blow dry. The fundraiser is in association with the already launched Dermafix Eyeslices campaign where R5 of every purchase automatically goes to a chosen Cancer Association for the month of October. Mode Hair and Beauty sold cupcakes on Friday October 7 in aid of raising funds for cancer and creating awareness.
