Crime watch

In response to several incidents of vehicles being stoned on Hout Bay Road last weekend, the Imizamo Yethu Movement has initiated a series of patrols to counter criminal elements. Children have also been spotted rolling tyres into the road late at night. Since the patrols, which include residents from across Hout Bay as well as civic groups, started on Monday, no incidents have been reported. Hout Bay police have also lent their support to the initiative.
