Councillor awarded

Ward councillor Roberto Quintas has received a Certificate of Appreciation and a Medal of Honour from Unifam (United Family) Hout Bay and the Western Cape Office of the UN Secretary for Refugees for his work helping refugees, migrants and asylum seekers. Unifam is a non-profit-organisation based in Cape Town that tries to improve the lives of refugee families in the Western Cape. “As the son of a migrant and someone who has close family who had to flee their homes as refugees and asylum seekers, the cause, challenge and crises that are faced by these vulnerable expats is extremely close to my heart,” he said.
