Carnival postponed

This year’s Hout Bay Carnival and Fish Derby, in the Hout Bay Harbour, has been postponed and will take place from Friday December 20 to Sunday December 22, say the organisers. “This decision has been made to avoid a conflict with the Yzerfontein Annual Snoek Classic scheduled for this weekend,” said one of the organisers, Roscoe Jacobs. Visitors can expect snoek braais, a food court, a beer garden, live entertainment such as the Temple Boys, fun rides, face painting and more. Tickets are available through Quicket.
