The president of The Shaman Motorcycle Club was killed after his bike hit two cars near the Twelve Apostles Hotel, on Victoria Road, last weekend.
ER24’sRussel Meiring said paramedics arrived on the scene at 1.20pm on Sunday April 15 to find a motorbike lying on the side of the road and a car nearby.
The body of the biker, who the Sentinel has identified as Lourens Hoffmann, of Sea Point, was found a short distance away.
“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition.”
He was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries upon arrival.
Tributeshave poured in for Mr Hoffmann on The Shaman MC Facebook page.
“RIP Lourens. Condolences to The Shaman current members and past as well as Lourens’s family and friends,” wrote Noel Austen.
