Hout Bay International School pupil, Freddie Broxis, completed the 13 Peaks Challenge, one of the youngest ever participants to complete the challenge.
Freddie participated with his father Paul, over nine weekends, some days walking over 20km over 8 hours.
Their journey included a trip from Signal Hill to Table Mountain, Platteklip to Maclears Beacon, Grootkop, Judas Peak, Suikerbossie, Klein Leeukoppie, Sand Dunes and many more.
Freddie completed the challenge in a total of 100h 59m 59s and currently sits 49th on the 13 peaks challenge wall of honour, an achievement for a young man of just 12 years of age.
