ABC For Life, a Hout Bay non-profit organisation, say they have launched a high quality, low cost alphabet set which they want to make available to all Grade 1s at no-fee schools in Hout Bay. “These sets have been designed by our own educators and are selling for R49.99. Alphabet sets are a critical tool which helps learners to become familiar with the 26 sounds of the alphabet and are the very first building block to becoming literate,” said spokesperson Romy Saitowitz.
