A day at the races

Thousands of spectators gathered for a mix horse racing, celebrity spotting, fashion and entertainment at the 162nd World Sports Betting Cape Town Met at Kenilworth racecourse on Saturday. The afternoon featured 11 races, including the 2 000-metre Grade 1 race with its R2 million stake, which saw Double Superlative darting through under visiting British jockey Daniel Muscutt to score a 33/1 upset.
