The Theuns Jordaan Tribute Concert will be presented at the DHL Stadium in Green Point on Saturday January 6.
Jordaan died of leukaemia on 17 November 2021.
Fourteen of SA’s top artists are on the line-up to pay tribute to Theuns by performing his classic songs. Concertgoers can look forward to performances by Steve Hofmeyr, Juanita du Plessis, Kurt Darren, Ray Dylan, Dozi, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Ricus Nel, Jay du Plessis, Bok van Blerk, Danny Smoke, Liezel Pieters, Lianie May and Jacques du Plessis.
The concert was previously held in honour of Theuns Jordaan at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria earlier this year, drawing a crowd of 20 000 people.The Theuns Jordaan Tribute Concert is produced by Deedee Oosthuizen and Floors Oosthuizen, in collaboration with one of Theuns’s close friends, Jacques du Plessis.
