Performer Salome, formerly from Lentegeur, will be hosting her show in Mitchell’s Plain for the first time.
She became famous for her hit songs I Don’t Want to Know, What I Do Best and It’s Complicated written by Marc Lottering.
Like so many of us, Salome has had her fair share of life’s challenges with substance abuse and low self-esteem, which has played a huge part in her life.
By the grace of God she has persevered and refused to allow any of her circumstances to define who she is and who she is meant to be, she said.
“I would like to take this opportunity to show my supporters all the love and gratitude that they have so openly given to me over the years. There will be many surprises in the coming months and I hope to make Mitchell’s Plain Proud.”
Salome will be joined by the band Signature SA, radio personality, Peadon Smith and DJ Chello for her first ever live concert in Mitchell’s Plain.
Her show will take place at Rocklands High School on Friday December 8, at 8pm.
Tickets cost R120 per person through Webtickets. Tickets will be available at the door for pensioners and children under 12 at R75 each. Contact Rosie Johansen on 073 317 3231 for more information.
